Back from break....

OK, so I took a little holiday from class and blogging. It was nice for the first week, not thinking about anything special. Even though I was working full time it was still a break. I kept my sketchbook with me at all times just in case inspiration struck! Had a few ideas, but none that I can work on until after the semester is over.

I was really glad to get the iMovie out of the way. It was a lot of work, but I learned a lot about the software. I had started making a slide show from our trip to Egypt in 2003, but was having trouble because I didn't know enough about the software. I think I can finish it now!

For our show and tell this week, I found an example of cool typography. Even though it's a bad cigarette ad, it associates two "wild child" behaviors: smoking and tatoos. This is probably what the advertisers had in mind when they created the ad.

Oh well....back to the grind! Four projects and six classes to go!!!
